RE-2X(st)Y Cables
Our RE-2X(st)Y cables are XLPE insulated instrumentation cables manufactured in accordance with European standard EN 50288-7.RE-2X(st)Y cables are multi-element metallic cables are designed for the transmission of analogue and digital signals in instrumentation, control and communications applications with a voltage rating of 300V. RE-2X(st)Y cables are typically used in process manufacturing plants such as those found in the petrochemical industry.
This range of cables is often referred to by their construction: RE-2X(st)Y - XLPE/CAM/PVC and RE-2X(st)Y SWAY - XLPE/CAM/GSWB/PVC.RE-2X(st)Y are available as collectively screened or individually screened - PiMF (pair in metal foil) and TiMF (triple in metal foil). An equivalent range of BS EN 50288-7 cables with Low Smoke Zero Halogen materials are available as RE-2X(st)H.
