TYPE SEOOW Cable

Type SEOOW Cable is slightly different from the other portable cables as this construction is made with a thermoplastic elastomer jacket. The biggest difference between this cable and other similar constructions is the additional chemical resistance and the rubber's additional flexible properties. SEOOW is an engineered, high-quality flexible cord, while other similar constructions are much stiffer. The SEOOW is more resistant to water than SOOW, and it has the largest temperature from –50ºC to 105ºC.

SEOOW stands for:
S = Service Cord (600 Volts)
E = Thermoplastic Elastomer
OO = Oil Resistant both inside insulation and outside jacket
W = CSA designation for weather/water resistance
