Powerchain cable

These cables form part of Uni-cable's wider automation range. Powerchain cables work alongside other control cables. Our Powerchain cables are available with PVC, LSZH, and PUR (Polyurethane) sheathings to adapt to particular installation environments.
Polyurethane (PUR) offers a robust sheathing that allows for use in heavy-duty conditions. It is a halogen-free and flame-retardant polymer that is resistant to abrasions and most chemicals. The Powerchain cable portfolio is suitable for low temperatures once in a fixed installation, -40℃ for the PVC sheathed cables and -50℃ for the PUR sheathed cables.

Powerchain cables flex repeatedly across a single axis, delivering internal wiring power to machinery and equipment such as assembly lines and production lines. To be able to repeatedly flex they have a Class 6 copper conductor of extra fine strands. For powertrain applications with greater than average mechanical stress, power chain cables can have a tinned copper wire braid to provide limited additional protection.
