COIL END LEAD TYPE 4 CABLE
Coil End Leads are single core cables manufactured to BS6195 with Class 5 flexible tinned copper conductors. They have an Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) heat and oil resistant and flame retardant insulation (HOFR) that protects against lubricants. Coil End Leads are primarily used in electrical machinery and panel wiring as a flexible, direct, permanent connection to coil windings of motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers and actuators where oil resistance is required. In certain applications, the Coil End Lead cable can be used as an alternative to bi-rated and tri-rated cables. these flexible rubber cables can also be used within the railway industry as an anode cable.Coil End Leads are referenced by a 'Type' - that type denotes the voltage rating.
Type 4A is 300/500V Type 4C is 0.6/1kV Type 4D is 1.9/3.3kV Type 4E is 3.8/6.6kV Type 4F is 6.35/11kV
